Dominican Rep. LDC round 4 best performance: Tay Hall

American Forward Tay Hall (197-F-2003) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Immortals de Cibao, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 20-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Santiago Max (#8, 1-7) with 18-point margin 87-69. It allowed Immortals to take over top position in the Dominican Rep. LDC. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Immortals has a very solid 6-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. It was one of impressive evenings for Hall as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Former Gulf Coast State College star has very solid stats this year. Hall is in league's top in points (3rd best: 11.8ppg) and assists (4th best: 1.4apg).

The second best player in last round's games was young Milosevic Rivera (193-G-1996) of Pueblo Nuevo. Rivera had a very good evening with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course CPN cruised to a 74-62 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Santiago Basket (#7, 1-7). Despite this victory CPN slide down in the standings to 3rd position. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Rivera is a newcomer at CPN, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#7). He also registered 4.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Immortals' star - American forward Sterling Manley (213-F/C-1998). Manley scored 20 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Immortals de Cibao, helping his team with a 87-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Santiago Max (#8, 1-7). Immortals confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Manley has a very solid season. In 3 games in Dominican Republic he scored 12.7ppg.
